COLLOIDAL-SILVER consists of very fine small particles of silver metal suspended in water. Even in small quantities, it is recognised as an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral agent.

1.	It is best to use good-quality potable distilled water or filtered clean rain water to make the colloidal silver. Other types of water can also be used but the results may not be as good. Some types of water such as tap water contain chlorine and this results in a bluish-white product of silver chloride, which can be used but is not as good as the colloidal silver.
2.	Fill a clean glass with suitable water. Screw the silver wire electrodes into the connector - block and place the Colloidal-Silver-Maker on top of the glass with the silver wires dipping into the water as shown in the picture.
3.	You can use a battery or mains-adaptor to run the Colloidal-Silver-Maker. To use a battery, first plug the battery-adaptor into the socket at the back of the Colloidal-Silver-Maker. Then connect a 9-volt (or 8.4-volt rechargeable) battery onto the battery clip. You may hold it there with an elastic band to prevent it coming off. As soon as the battery is connected, the unit will start to make colloidal silver, and it will stop when the battery is removed.
4.	Do not un-plug the adaptor from the socket with the battery connected. Make sure you un-plug the battery first.
5.	To use a Mains-Adaptor (Unregulated type):- Set it to 6-volts or 7.5-volts with inner positive. To use a Mains-Adaptor (Regulated type):- Set it to 9-volts or 12-volts with inner positive.
6.	If it does not say 'Regulated' on the adaptor, treat it as an Unregulated type and do not set it over 7.5-volts. Plug the adaptor in to the socket on the Colloidal-Silver-Maker and switch it on. The unit will start to make colloidal silver and it will stop when you switch off the power.
7.	For a glass containing 250ml of distilled water, a time of about 20 minutes should suffice if a 9-volt battery or regulated power-supply is used. For a 12-volt regulated supply, the time may be reduced to 12-15 minutes. An unregulated supply set at 6-volts takes about 20 minutes. An unregulated supply set at 7 1/2 volts, about 12-15 minutes. For different quantities of water, vary the time accordingly.
8.	Some people add a tiny pinch of bicarbonate of soda to the water before using the Colloidal-Silver-Maker. This should only be done with distilled or rain-water and it speeds up the process a little.
9.	The colloidal-silver often appears as grey or honey-gold clouds in the water. Either colour is good, as the grey colour usually changes to honey-gold or pale brown in time or on exposure to light.
10.	If white or bluish-white clouds appear in the water, this usually means that chlorine is present. The product will still 'work' but is not as good, as it is producing silver chloride instead of Colloidal-Silver. Because the silver chloride is usually not all colloidal, it tends to settle, so should be used straight away after being made, as it only works well when it is very fresh.
11.	Colloidalsilver solution can be stored in clean glass. Best in a dark place. If the colour fades, this means that the solution is no longer good - it is best if it keeps a pale honey-gold or light-brown colour.
12.	There are many ways of using the benefits of Colloidal-Silver and much information to be found about it on Internet and at alternative health centres.

IONIC-SILVER, produced by the Silver-Detox-Unit, is not a suspension of solid particles like Colloidal-Silver. The silver is divided into single atoms, thousands of times smaller than most of the colloidal particles. Because of their small size, these atom-sized ions can reach parts of the body inaccessible to Colloidal-Silver. This means that Ionic-Silver can be more effective in some circumstances.

Some people who have taken Ionic-Silver in the form of silver salts, either by injection or orally, have taken too much, resulting in a condition called "argyria". This is not a danger to health but it does cause the skin to take on a bluish tinge - perhaps some Indian deities consumed too much Ionic-Silver !

If the Silver-Detox-Unit is used in accordance with the instructions, it will not produce sufficient Ionic-Silver to cause argyria.

1.	Fit a 9-volt battery in the battery compartment, making sure it is the right way round OR attach a Mains-Adaptor to the socket at the rear.
2.	Screw the STAINLESS-STEEL ROD into the terminal block below the BLACK wire (Front LEFT).
3.	Screw the SILVER ROD into the terminal block below the RED wire (Front RIGHT).
4.	Place the Silver-Detox-Unit on top of a glass of drinking water so that the wires dip into the water. After a short time, a bluish-white cloud forms around the SILVER ROD. It may become dark brown on exposure to light, but is still OK to use.
5.	Leave the Silver-Detox-Unit on top of the glass for a short time, about 1-2 minutes for a small person of 8-12 stone, or 2-3 minutes for a larger person over 12 stone.
6.	Lift the Silver-Detox-Unit away from the glass, stir the water and drink it slowly in sips.
7.	For external body disinfection, the unit may be left longer in the water, 5 minutes or more. Then stir and apply to the body where required. It is especially comforting and beneficial for burns.

If the water contains CHLORINE, either of these devices might produce SILVER-CHLORIDE. This generally appears as white or bluish clouds in the water. It is not harmful and becomes converted to Colloidal-Silver in the body.

If it is used freshly, within a few minutes of preparation, it seems to be about as effective as Colloidal-Silver - for some purposes it may even be better. After a few minutes, it settles onto the sides of the container as a solid layer and is then difficult to use.

Fresh Silver-Chloride dissolves in most fruit juices, such as apple, grape, orange or lemon juices, so as to give a clear solution containing Ionic-Silver. This solution may be used and is effective.
