Here's how it works: Above is a picture of the Healthpoint Acupoint Detector and Treatment Unit.
THE PROBE is used to detect and treat Acupoints without the need for a needle.
SENSITIVITY CONTROL is used to adjust point finding for different individuals. When a point is located this is indicated by a small light near the on/off switch, and a beep is heard.
TREATMENT BUTTON is pressed to give a treatment when the point has been located.
INTENSITY CONTROL is used to control the strength of the Treatment. Above it is the POLARITY CONTROL which gives positive treament, negative treatment or biphasic treatment. If in doubt use the biphasic treatment which is suitable for most conditions.
BODY/EAR SWITCH selects treatment, usually set to 'BODY' but for special ear treatments the EAR setting is used.
FREQUENCY SWITCH HAS 3 SETTINGS. (1) 10 hz FOR NORMAL USE
(2)100 hz FOR WHEN A STRONGER TREATMENT IS NEEDED
(3) 2 hz FOR WHEN A GENTLER TREATMENT IS BEST.
Above the frequency control is the TIMER SWITCH with 3 positions:
(1) 30 second treatment timer T
(2) Treats when the treatment button is pressed, stops when released M
(3) Continuously 'on' for ear treatment etc. C
THE QUICKSTART GUIDE which comes with the Unit is a basic guide to enable you to start using the HEALTHPOINT as soon as possible. It is included in the price of the HEALTHPOINT.

'SIMPLY A SAFER WAY' is an optional 130-page detailed and well illustrated guide to Treatment, which explains a large number of Treatments clearly and with comprehensive guidance in locating the relevant points for each.
